We specialize in teaching young children ages 5 and up. The children we instruct come from all walks of life. The training they will receive here will give them pride, discipline, self confidence and self respect. The shy, withdrawn child becomes more outgoing and confident. The aggressive child is calmer and more respectful of others.

Parents today often have difficulty giving their children all the time they would like due to many factors. Here at NH Kicks, we seek to reinforce the important values that parents strive to teach their children. All of our students learn the Seven Home Rules for Children and then follow and use them as a guide for proper behavior both in the training studio and outside.

Children are exposed to Martial Arts from a very early age through various media outlets such as video games, cartoons, and movies where characters portrayed as both good and bad always seem to be experts in some form of Martial Arts. In most cases it is the fighting that is emphasized and there is no context given for the philosophy and tradition of Martial Arts. At NH Kicks, we believe children will receive many benefits from studying traditional Taekwondo that go beyond simple self defense moves and physical conditioning.

Some of the benefits include:

• Improved Focus
• Increased ability to learn new skills
• Respectful Behavior
• Empathy for others
• Goal Setting
• Sense of Community
• Self Control
• Increased Awareness
• Rewards of Discipline

Age 5-12
Our program will develop self-esteem and confidence, teach discipline and self-control, help channel energy, develop lifelong self defense skills, are fun and encourage positive work and academic values. Students are continually asked to achieve new levels both physically and emotionally. Our environment, though demanding, is one of achievement through individual growth. By focusing and trying hard, our students realize that they can be highly successful in TaeKwonDo and in life.

Age 12+
Today's teenagers face significant challenges in many forms. The pressures that arise from academic and athletic activities, peer pressure, and potential crime increase the amount of stress that a teenager can endure. Through the study of Taekwondo, students can learn to maintain their composure during stressful situations in order to complete their established goals.
